Jay Ngan
DIRECTOR
BUILDING DESIGNER
Jay is an experienced building designer based in Queensland. Born in Hong Kong, moved to Brisbane Australia at the age of 10, Jay developed an interest in design during high school, and graduated with a Master of Architecture at Queensland University of Technology. During his Bachelor degree, Jay began his practice in various sectors of architecture, such as residential, multi-residential, commercial, retail and hospitality.
In 2019, Jay started monumentous, the team and network gradually grew. monumentous is exploring new opportunities in Building and Design industry.
Jovita Lee
DESIGN DIRECTOR
Jovita started her Architecture career in Portugal and relocated to Shanghai (China) as Partner/Country manager in 2010. Through architecture, Jovita found her talent in Interior Design, she calls it an intimate relationship with sensations - textures, colours, patterns. In 2016 she started her career as an Interior Designer. She managed to build a close relationship with restauranteurs in Shanghai which gave her the advantage to work on some of the most trendy Restaurant and Lounge bars in town.
In 2020, Jovita become an associate at monumentous to lead our team.
Lucie Deveson
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Lucie is an Interior Designer with 4 years experience working for the award winning The Interior Space design studio. Lucie joined Monumentous to expand our interior design portfolio. Collecting her inspiration from artisan practices and travelling the world, Lucie believes that combination of both creates timeless yet functional design.
